These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of sated.kitchen and the SATED cookbook (the “Product”), operated by Project Sunrise LLC. By visiting the site or purchasing the Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase the Product.
When you purchase the SATED cookbook, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, store, and use the digital PDF file for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may print one copy for your own kitchen. You may not:
The Product is delivered as a watermarked PDF stamped with the purchaser’s email address on every page (see section 1.4 of the Privacy Policy). The watermark is a technical anti-piracy measure, not a license restriction in itself.
Prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. All applicable US state and local sales taxes are calculated and collected by Stripe at checkout based on your billing address. The price shown at checkout is the total you will be charged.
The Product is delivered electronically. Immediately after a successful payment, an email is sent to the address you provided at checkout, containing a personalized download link. The link is single-use and expires after a reasonable period. If you do not receive the email within 30 minutes, check spam folders and contact hello@sated.kitchen.
14-day, no-questions-asked refund. If within 14 days of purchase the Product does not work for you, email hello@sated.kitchen from the email address used at checkout. We will refund the full purchase price to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving your request. You do not need to explain why. After the refund is issued, the license granted in section 1 terminates and you must delete the file.
After day 14, refunds are at our discretion. Refund requests caused by failure to deliver, duplicate charges, or fraud are always honored regardless of the 14-day window.
The SATED cookbook is an educational cooking resource. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for the guidance of a licensed physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified health professional. The Product is intended for adults who are already taking a GLP-1 medication under their prescriber’s supervision. The Product makes no claims about the efficacy, safety, or appropriateness of any prescription medication. You should consult your prescribing physician before making any change to your diet, particularly while taking a GLP-1 medication.
The Product includes a Medical & Food-Safety Notice on its final page. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have read and understood that notice.
If you sign up to the SATED newsletter, you consent to receive educational emails from Project Sunrise LLC. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Transactional emails (purchase receipt, download link, refund confirmation) are sent regardless of newsletter status because they are required to deliver the Product.
You agree not to use the site or the Product to:
All content of the SATED cookbook and the sated.kitchen website — including recipes, photography, layout, typography, brand marks, and copy — is owned by Project Sunrise LLC or its licensors, and is protected by US copyright and trademark law. The license granted in section 1 does not transfer any ownership.
The site and the Product are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Project Sunrise LLC does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Project Sunrise LLC, its members, employees, or agents be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site or the Product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The total aggregate liability of Project Sunrise LLC for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Product will not exceed the amount you paid for the Product in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Project Sunrise LLC and its members, employees, and agents from any third-party claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Product, or your violation of any law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, and terminate the license granted in section 1, if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 1 (post-termination obligations), 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, the site, or the Product will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ingham County, Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves or as legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced to active newsletter subscribers via email. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
